Come and gone, the iPad is 60 days away from being released in Canada and to clear up what I believe - The iPad is a device to replace netbooks, which I personally feel are a waste of 300 dollars. The iPad, be it, not much more than a large iTouch is cheap enough to make a play in this market and despite the fact that many of you feel otherwise, I would invest my money saying it will be successful no matter how much you want to bitch and complain about it.
Obviously it isn't perfect, nothing Apple makes really hits the spot just right but its different enough to be an Apple product and it does look pretty good. At a price of $499 American for the basic 16gb model, it should be a good sell. 3g prices are pretty good for unlimited
thing about it is... i cant fuckin believe how big the bevel is on the damn thing... and wtf apps? soooo ok cool... i cant multi task on this sucker...  the fact that not even the 3g version has a camera... also bugs me... touch keyboard is gunna be awkward as fuck to use the name is a joke you need 100000 adapters to charge the fuckin thing or plug in through usb??? its got no standard ports and sure its got a nice screen but theres no output... any hd content you download... even trailers... wont be fully appreciated... maybe another adapter? its got a weird aspect ratio though too... ITS GOT NO FLASH  SO NO ADDICTING GAMES.COM AHH and though its being discussed... i doubt it will have 3rd party apps... so far its looking like a closed app system honestly... though a rock doesnt support flash either... at least its under 500 bucks even when compared to the kindle... which i heard about last year and was impressed with... though i dont read books  lol

Wow, I thought I was only upset about it not having USB.
How can they even consider this a computer lol without usb, flash and all the standards people actually USE. This tablet is a time passer and a workstation so no mulit tasking or addictinggames completely destorys it |
