Apple has released information at a press event this afternoon to show off the new iPad.
What appears to be a large iPhone is .5" thick with a 9.7" LCD display which looks great. Its a polished machine that contains great content. People taking a guess at price are saying anywhere between 700-1000 dollars in price. I don't think I would pay more than $799 for the device. People should not compare this to a netbook, netbooks are a waste of money and a phase. Computers are moving towards tablets. Look at desktops, many machines are being made with touch screen displays and hardware built into the display. Tablets are the hype for the future of technology and computers and I bet we will see the tablet computer take over the laptop market as more companies come out with updated models. The features shown so far at the event include - Built in iPod - Internet - Youtube - Gaming and Apps - E-reader - Organizer Is it enough too sell what might be an expensive product. I'm sure people will buy it. We will keep updates coming. |

Of course it will have iTunes built in, its a fucking apple product, its is an iPod Touch stretch and with better grpahics / CPU. As for pricing it starts at 500 not 700, nice try. As for waste of money, this is it. Its only a fucking large iPod Touch, its garbage. This type of tablet will never take over laptops b/c of the lack of power. omg i was soooooooo disappointed by that trash... i expected more from apple... it seems to have some interesting features but just like any apple product it seems very limited... like im gunna have to play with it till i give my finally judgement call but for the time... yeah it looks like an oversize ipod touch...

shun I wrote that before they announced the price, nice try.
tbh though, for 499, its not that bad, if it was more than 700 it would be pointless because its clearly geared at people buying netbooks and I really hate netbooks so I would rather pay 100 more for this. |
